Nigel is known as a successful entrepreneur (owner and proprietor of the London crafts shop Whittled) not afraid to deploy magic in order to turn a quick profit. It is rumoured that he bought his way into Bedivere Hall, and has taken an interest in some of their more modern research endeavours. He is often heard spouting off about liberty, though those who have met him have learned to watch their pockets around his shifty monkey familiar, Mooch.
