Meredith Howell: Professor of Chaos, Violence, and Love

Meredith Howell aged 45 died on the 23rd of August from a fatal knife wound to the chest. She leaves no family. Meredith Howell was an esteemed professor at Fullington University where she taught Occult magic, particularly Kaomancy, and ran a lauded programme of magical outreach. Her research and voice lead to greater enrolment in the university from a wide variety of Wytches from various initial schools. There she was a constant professor and mentor for her students. Known as a wild spirit, she would often disappear for weeks at a time, returning with horrendous scars from extreme hiking. A truly free spirit, condolences are sent to her loved ones.

Open Case file number 34A, Murder: Meredith Howell.

Inside the file are a number of photos of a forest path, Meredith’s body lies beside a tree covered in lacerations and freeze burns on her face, arms and legs. Stabbed deep into her chest is a ritual-looking dagger. In a later photo of the murder weapon alone, it can be seen that the name 'Meredith Howell' is engraved on one side.
