The Legacy of the Soul Sisters and the Heart Maidens

(See eternities for more detail)

“Following Warwick, the Soul Sisters and the Heart Maidens quickly disbanded, each going their separate ways. Dame Jane Palmer worked quickly to have their names recognised and their knighthoods passed over to their true names, while each of the young women worked out how they themselves could deal with what they'd been through.

David Williams, Master of Bedivere Hall, quickly acted with the help of Dame Candice Faraker (Soul Spark) to produce a campaign to urge young people to avoid vigilantism, bringing the message of the death of Dame Eriko Takahasi (Soul Soil) all too clearly and putting to rest wannabe copycat groups such as 'The Body Brothers'.

Dame Jane worked from there extensively with HMMR in the founding of the Agent Training Program, which saw Wytches across the country join the ranks of HMMR to keep magical mishaps to a minimum - including Dame Candice, Dame Maddie Smythe (Burnt Heart), and Dame Ellie Simpson (Frozen Heart) - while Dame Rose Meyer (Soul Soul) worked to make sure that herself and her friends were always kept safe from harm in the future.

Curiously, only Dame Celia Galbraith (Soul Zephyr) kept her 'Soul name', working with the World Health Organisation (WHO) to educate the on the uses and dangers of Nosomancy, spearheading a medical revolution across the planet. Meanwhile, her counterpart Dame Alexandra Lockhart (Light Heart) faded into obscurity, having nothing ever again to do with the people she'd fought alongside, as did Katie Daniels (Stone Heart) who refused to have the knighthood transferred over, and Dame Susie Phillips (Heart Heart) disappeared off into academia in Cor Tewdws.

While the Soul Sisters and Heart Maidens may no longer be working together though, their influence on an entire generation of young people will last forever - their contributions to justice inspired thousands of young people to fight for what they believed in, filling the ranks of HMMR with enthusiasm, and their plight furthered the work of Wytch Rights where other the battle could have been so much harder.”
