Gabriel Nightingale

The Attwood Circle had a serious change of tone after the death of previous leader, Elias Attwood. There were many who questioned the right of Gabriel Nightingale to take his place, given the not-insubstantial part Mr Nightingale had played in the circumstances leading up to Attwood’s death, and almost a third of the membership departed over the course of the next few months. Nightingale was clear that it was his intent that all wytches work within the law, and the missing members were soon replaced with recruits more suited to the new approach.

The Circle Defence School was soon renowned as the best place to go to learn self-defence, whether magical, physical or both, and any wytch in trouble or under threat of persecution soon found the sanctuary they needed.
